Celebrate Mother's Day at 9:00am on Sunday, May 12 with a Highlands Hike at Allamuchy State Park where we will reconnect with Mother Nature on a 5 mile moderately difficult hike.
This hike features peak spring blooms and views of historic Waterloo Village along the Highlands Trail - New Jersey's longest continuous hiking route. This trail is well maintained with sure footing all the way and some short steep sections. Along the way, hike leaders Dylan Medici (New Jersey Highlands Coalition), Linda Cerceau (Musconetcong Watershed Association) and Zac Cole (New York-New Jersey Trail Conference) will speak about some of the areas interesting features and history.
