The scope of this questionnaire is to understand if the digital game ‘The Last of Us’, by portraying a fungus mutation that led to a pandemic, fostered players’ infection awareness. This research is performed under the project PLAYMUTATION: Virus Epidemiologic-themed Digital Games and Youngsters’ Attitudes to Viral Infections (DMPI/001/2022 and GIP4_2022) that aims to examine how digital games can be used to teach youngsters about the mutation, transmission, and evolution of viral genomes, as well as to encourage self-care and infection prevention.
Your responses will provide feedback on the digital games' influence in infection awareness. The data collected will be used to determine if digital games are a good mean to portray virus, fungus and genomes to raise young adults' awareness of outbreak infections.
If you have any difficulties in completing the questionnaire or require additional information, please feel free to contact Cláudia Ortet (claudiaortet@ua.pt) and/or Liliana Vale Costa (lilianavale@ua.pt).
Thank you for your participation!
