The "Risas y Sonrisas" program will be used. It is interactive, visual, and auditory in order to learn Spanish in a fun and easy way. The multi-sensory presentation promotes the students' interest in learning the proper pronunciation of vocabulary, frequently used Q & A, songs, conversation skits, and practical grammar concepts.
Inquiry
taught by Mrs. Belt
In this class, students will engage in hands-on activities meant to build skills relating to academics and the world outside of the school building. Using the Inquire handbook, students will engage in lessons focused on communication skills, money, study skills, problem solving, and creating presentations in a variety of formats.
Research Lab
taught by Ms. Franks and Mr. Gonzalez
In this class you will learn skills for conducting authentic research and also participate in project-based learning. This will build a foundation for future research and learning opportunities for the rest of your academic career.
Study Hall
Students will have an opportunity to work on both class and homework assignments in a quiet and structured environment.
