Is your child potty trained? Meaning they toilet independently and DO NOT wear a diaper or pull up during the day. Potty training isn't required but it helps us to plan groups. *
Does your child have experience being separated from you outside your home? If your child does not have separation experience and you are not an incoming Toddlertime student, we require two consecutive weeks and we highly recommend it for incoming students without separation experience.  *
What drop off / separation experience has your child had? If they attend preschool somewhere, please let us know. *
Does your child have allergies requiring an Epi pen? If so, we will need 1. Emergency Medical Protocol Form 2. A locked box labeled with your child's name containing sealed allergy medications with current prescription label(s) 3. Completed prescription medication form(s) for each medicine. Forms are available on our web site (https://toddlertimens.org/forms/ ). If you are new to school and your child has an allergy please be aware that it takes time to get everything in order. Acknowledging an allergy here and on Famly is NOT sufficient. You must have your allergy protocol signed off by the office. We provide popsicles daily so if your child cannot have popsicles, please let us know/provide something he/she can have. *
Does your child have any food sensitivities or dietary restrictions?  If yes, please fill out the Individual Child Care Plan  form on our web site (https://toddlertimens.org/forms/ ). Acknowledging a sensitivity or restriction here and on Famly is NOT sufficient. You must have your protocol signed off by the office.   We provide popsicles daily so if your child cannot have popsicles, please let us know/provide something he/she can have.

Camp Choices by Age
For incoming Toddlertime children who are entering a 2's program in the fall,  we are offering 2 two week sessions 7/8-7/19 and 7/22-8/2 on MWF 8:45-11:45am or T/TH 8:45-11:15am. We recommend that you follow the same schedule as you will for the school year.  Priority for the MWF group will go to the older 2's.

Entering a 3's program. Weekly sessions Monday-Friday or MWF 9:00-12:00pm with an option to stay until 1:00pm. We are limited in the number of campers we can have that are entering a 3's but are not 32 months by the first day of camp so priority will go to TT families. If your camper is not going to be 32 months by the first day of camp, please contact the office. PLEASE NOTE AMOUNT DUE BECAUSE CONFIRMATION EMAIL DOESN'T TALLY FOR YOU.

For children who are or will be at least 5 by 12/31. This program is intended for children who have completed a 4's, 5's or kindergarten program. Weeks 1 and 2 are either Explorers Club from 8:45am-2pm or on-site at Toddlertime from 9:00am-1pm.  Explorer’s Club: Campers will board a school bus and venture out on an exciting adventure four out of five days. On their day at “home” they will have an in-house field trip. Parents and campers rave about this camp and say it’s a great way to get ready to ride the school bus in the fall. Beginning with week 3 camp is from 9:00-1:00 pm at Toddlertime for all. We will have visitors to the camp weekly for 3, 4 and 5 year old groups (usually on Wednesdays) for some extra fun.  Past events include magicians, animal shows and musicians. Do you give your child consent to attend these programs?

I understand that I need to have all required forms in by June 1st and that my child(ren) cannot attend without the forms. If your child(ren) is/are  current student(s) and your medical forms are valid through the summer, then you are all set. For all other children we need 1. Medical form and 2. Emergency Information Form (https://toddlertimens.org/forms/ ). If your child has allergies, please contact the office immediately as several forms are necessary and take time to produce. These forms can be downloaded from our website. The reason other camps may not require these forms is because we run our camp on our preschool license which has more state requirements than a camp license. *
Required

Payment: You will be invoiced through our Famly app as you register, and payment is due within 14 days.  We will notify you by email when you have been added to Famly. There is a weekly surcharge for non Toddlertime campers of $25/week not to exceed $100 for the summer.

 Cancellation Policy:  For Explorer’s Camp, if you cancel prior to March 1, your camp tuition less a $200 administrative fee will be refunded. There is no refund for Explorer’s who cancel after March 1 due to buses and reservations. For all other camps, if you cancel prior to April 1, your camp tuition less a $100 administrative fee is applied as a credit for future programs (tuition excluded) and after April 1, there is no refund due to staffing. There will be no refunds or make-ups for camp absences unless the entire session is cancelled by Toddlertime. Minimum numbers are required to run each camp group. Should Toddlertime need to cancel a program, you will be refunded in full.

Now for all the state required verbiage: I hereby give consent for my child(ren) to participate in the camp program at Toddlertime. I certify that I know of no physical or emotional conditions which would impair my child from participating fully. If necessary, I authorize the persons in charge to secure first aid and/or the services of any legally qualified physician or hospital, and agree to assume all financial obligations. We/I have been provided with Toddlertime's written behavior management policy (located in the parent handbook) and had the ability to discuss the behavior management techniques used at Toddlertime with the administration and I was given opportunity to ask questions.  Click here to view our handbook *

More state mandated verbiage:

Walking field trips: I give permission for our child to take part walking field trips including but not limited to walking field on the grounds outside the Congregational Church where Toddlertime Nursery School is located. These field trips will be at the same address as Toddlertime Nursery School (23 Park Street, New Canaan, CT 06840). Activities during these field trips include, but are not limited to, exploring our grassy areas and gardens, reading books, having picnics, scavenger hunts, music, freeing butterflies, and playing. I understand that there are inherent risks when outside and that this area is outside the licensed space at Toddlertime. The only licensed space at Toddlertime are our classrooms, our indoor playground, and our outdoor fenced playground. All other space is considered outside our licensed space and is not licensed. We were recently told that we are not allowed to be in unlicensed space without your permission, so we are asking for it.  Please sign here if you acknowledge the risks, understand that our grassy areas and gardens are unlicensed and give permission for your child to go outside and enjoy them anyway!
