To the Parents, Families, Community Members, Students and Teachers of the Green Forest School,
Our school will be receiving funds for covered activities under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. One of the stipulations of the funds, as well as all Federal Funds, is to conduct "meaningful consultation" with stakeholders.
We are providing this survey to give your feedback in developing this plan to spend these funds.
Key components of the funds include:
- Funds may be used for student learning, technology, students social, emotional and academic needs.
- Twenty percent (20%) of the funds will be used to address learning loss. Potential expenditures could be evidence- based interventions, (summer learning, summer enrichment, extended day(tutoring), after school programs, etc.
-interventions that respond to students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
-Funds shall be used for purposes that are reasonable, necessary and allocable (allowable).
-Funds will be available to until September 2024.
Please provide any feedback, suggestions, questions or input concerning how the students can benefit from the funds.
Please contact Terry Darnell (
tdarnell@gf.k12.ar.us) or a school administrator if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Thank you!
