The mission of the City of Raton’s Department of Parks and Recreation is to enhance the health, wellness and quality of life for the citizens of Raton, regional residents and visitors to Raton by providing and promoting wholesome recreational activities, well maintained recreation facilities and customer service oriented staff.

The Raton Department of Parks and Recreation is conducting this survey to get a better idea of the community needs regarding recreation. The information gathered will assist us in a long term strategy to create social and recreation opportunities for the citizens in and around Raton.
