What was the behaviour you expected to happen, and what actually happened?

1. I clicked start game.
2. I selected Bruce and Club as my loadout and started my run.
3. I purchased an Ort and a Krenk and put them to the right of the player.
4. I clicked continue.
5. I played until I leveled up to level 2 (around 9:37).
6. I tried to purchase an Ort and feed it directly to my original Ort.
7. The Ort instead hovered right next to the original Ort, without being purchased or giving my original Ort any experience.
