Is this camp right for my child?
If your child struggles with transitions, anxious behaviors, school anxiety, speaking to new people, working cooperatively with same age peers, presenting in front of a group, doing board work in front of others, participating in show and tell and/or separating from you at drop off, then this is a great camp for your child! Our two day intensive camp, staffed by trained clinicians, is aimed at helping your child transition back from summer to the school year with practice being with and working alongside other students and adults. Open to children 4 - 17.  All participants must be toilet trained. Your child is not required to be verbal with new adults or peers to participate in camp.

What does a camp day look like?
Camp will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 & Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 9am-2pm each day. Camp will start promptly each day at 9:00 AM.  If your child needs a little more time to settle in, you may bring them as early as 8:45am, however we encourage a quick drop and go as extended goodbyes can actually be more difficult for your child. Below is an example of a typical camp day.

If you missed our Summer 2023 Jumpstart camp, don't worry, we are already planning for next summer. If you would like to be notified of our next camp or other offerings related to social anxiety or selective mutism, please send your contact information to admin@simplypsychservices.com or call 602.428.2838.  For more information on our camp format please see below.
