Included in the District Executive Committee are 4-6 members elected by the full District Scout Council. This is an important role on the Committee, as the number of elected members governs the size of the rest of the Executive, ensuring that a significant voice in District governance belongs to elected representatives of its members.
Voting on this issue is open to ALL of the District Scout Council.
Membership of the District Scout Council is defined by the list below:
- All adult members and associate members of the Scout District, including all adults holding the following appointments from the Scout Groups in the District (Group Scout Leader, Deputy Group Scout Leader, Group Chair, Group Secretary, Group Treasurer, Section Leader, Assistant Section Leader, Group Active Support Manager);
- All Explorer Scouts;
- All members of the District Scout Network;
- A representative of the Troop Leadership Forum, selected from amongst the membership of the Forum;
- All parents of Explorer Scouts.

You are asked for your name and role as a member of the District Scout Council only to confirm your eligibility to vote in this election and ensure your only vote once. All qualifying votes will be counted. All details collected on this form will be deleted following the election process.
