Hello dads,
Thank you for expressing interest in the "When dads read" campaign! The main objective of this campaign is to give dads SIMPLE, PRACTICAL TOOLS FOR READING.
This course is delivered online, at your own pace; simple structure, hands-on approach, just 15- minutes per session.
Topics that will be treated include:
1. THE DYNAMICS OF READING
2. HOW TO ENSURE READING COMPREHENSION
3. HOW TO BRING FUN INTO READING
4. HOW TO USE A BOOK FOR CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
5. PURPOSEFUL INTENTIONAL PARENTING
This course will be delivered by me, Naa Odey Asante.
Naa Odey Asante, a parenting enthusiast and a mum of 2 blessings of my own and many more successful kids from my nearly 30 years of teaching Sunday school. I started Aanyedoo 12 years ago when I saw the need to raise bold and blessed leaders for the next generation. I wrote 2 children’s picture books and co-authored another. All with the aim of influencing children to believe in themselves, to unleash their potential and to help them to become what God purposed them to be.
Over the past 10 years however, I have also come to appreciate the importance of good parenting in this whole equation of success; and how the first 10 years of a child’s life has a huge bearing on their future. So, after my forays in the world of finance and walking the corridors of the C suite. I am back ON THIS LEADERSHIP JOURNEY with Aanyedoo full time but with a different strategy now - helping parents to be their child’s first teacher.
I am passionate about being a mum and helping all parents to nurture blessed and successful leaders (conquerors) because I believe that’s the most important job of all. Now you will find me dreaming and writing or in conversations with my Father in heaven. My other passions include entrepreneurship especially start-ups, (I call myself the Chief “Starterupper”); personal financial planning and coaching.
This is a 3-day course. There are two sessions available.
The first session begins on 16th July 2021 and ends on 18th July 2021 (focus on the girl child).
The second session begins on 23rd July 2021 and ends on 25th July 2021 (focus on the boy child).
