Description: Follow the coast on a wide flat gravel road to the lower Pencarrow lighthouse at the Wellington harbour entrance. Walking further around the coast to Fitzroy Bay, turn left onto the shores of Lake Kohangapiripiri. A number of options to explore the area including walking to the high point of the Cameron Ridge Track to view Lake Kohangatera and the Gollans Wetland. 6-7 hrs walking
