In an initiative to promote more interactions amongst students in different groups performing optics-related research at Caltech...the Optica Student Chapter is proud to present Optics Boba Chats! These will be regular meetups sponsored by the student chapter, in which you can sign-up to have boba, tea or coffee at a nearby establishment and chat with student members from other groups. We will limit participation to about 5-6 people per chat and have 1 student per research group per chat so that you are guaranteed to meet students from different groups! We will try to make sure everyone gets to participate at least once, and repeated attendance is permitted if there is insufficient demand. Optica student members will be given priority if there is insufficient supply of spots. If you are selected for an Optics Boba Chat you will receive further instructions for meeting time and place.
