Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL):

RPL for Access to the External Integrated Summative Assessment
Accredited providers and approved workplaces must apply the internal assessment criteria specified in the related curriculum document to establish and confirm prior learning. Accredited providers and workplaces must confirm prior learning by issuing a statement of result.

RPL for Access to the Qualification
  • Learners will gain access to the qualification through RPL for Access as provided for in the QCTO RPL Policy. RPL for access is conducted by accredited education institution, skills development provider or workplace accredited to offer that specific qualification/part qualification.
  • Learners who have acquired competencies of the modules of a qualification or part qualification will be credited for modules through RPL.

    CONTACT SESSION - DEREGISTRATION AND REFUND POLICY
    The Occupational Qualification: Data Science (NQF 5, Credits 185) spans over a period of 24 Months (i.e. 2 years). The course will commence on Monday, 04 March 2024 from 8am to 4pm. The course end date is Wednesday, 05 March 2026.
    1. If the Learner deregisters within 1 month after the commencement of the academic programme, the Learner may be entitled to receive all monies received by Izinkanyezi, less R1000 (One Thousand Rand) of the administrative costs.
    2. If the Learner deregisters within 1 month after commencement, the Learner will be liable for R1000 (One Thousand Rand) of the administrative costs PLUS 50% of the full tuition fee. No amount in respect of study materials will be refunded, and study materials may not be returned to Izinkanyezi.
    3. If the Learner deregisters more than 1 month after commencement of the academic programme, the Learner will be liable for the full tuition fee. No amount will be refunded after deregistration. No amount in respect of study material will be refunded, and study materials may not be returned to Izinkanyezi.
    Izinkanyezi Training and Development (PTY) LTD reserves the right to postpone or cancel a course should there be insufficient delegates. The Learner will be entitled to the paid amount on cancellation of the course.
