Our EGL-hosted Tabletop Day event will be an excellent opportunity to introduce new folks to this hobby we love! One key thing will be to ensure no one is stuck off in the corner reading a rule book, or unable to participate due to lack of open tables or just not knowing where to start.
So we're asking folks in the board game community to volunteer during the event (the more folks that sign up, the less time each has to serve!). You'd be a game ambassador: meet & greet, assist people with finding appropriate games, teach how to plays, run a game table, etc.
We may also have a check-in desk and/or game library so would be great to have volunteers to man this - as before, the more volunteers, the less time each of us has to serve!
