GE Union Square San Francisco Trip

Join Global Engagement (GE) staff and fellow international graduate students and scholars for a holiday visit to San Francisco's Union Square on Saturday, December 10th. Please meet at Quarry Plaza by 9:45 am to be checked in and to meet others in the group. The trip fee is $25 to help pay for the cost of transportation. Students, this will be charged to your student billing account. Scholars, please bring your $25 in cash. Please also bring your own money for lunch and shopping.

We will depart Quarry Plaza at 10 am and we expect to reach Union Square at about 12 noon to enjoy approximately four hours in "The City." You may choose to have lunch, visit the holiday windows and stores in Union Square, mingle with the hundreds of Santa Clauses at SantaCon SF, walk to the Ferry Building, or hop into a cab or Uber to another part of San Francisco. Whatever you decide to do, please return to the bus drop-off site by 3:50 pm. We will depart from the drop-off site at 4 pm sharp, returning to campus at approximately 6 pm.

*International graduate students and scholars will be prioritized. Others may be included if seats are available.

Please look for our email verifying your spot or indicating you have been added to a waitlist.

**Please note: Because spaces on the bus are limited, if you sign up for the trip and your spot is confirmed but you don't show for the trip, you will be charged a $50 "No Show" fee. If your plans change, please let us know by Wednesday, December 7 at noon to avoid this fee and so we can offer your seat to someone on the waitlist.
