If you are or have been a Critter, a proposal is NOT required. 
For those who have not been a part of the Crit Lab, or if you have been out of the Lab for more than 3 years, a short proposal is required: 
Write a short 1-2 paragraphs  for why you are interested in this residency.
Proposal: 200-250 words max
(Critters: Write "I am a Critter". This field cannot be left empty).

Rooms in Italy are varied, unique and limited. Please note your preference here. *
Required
$500 deposit is required to hold your place once your application has been accepted. An invoice for the deposit and balance payment info will be sent by email. Deposits are fully refundable if The Crit Lab cancels or changes the residency for any reason. For events our of our control, (covid or other world events) The Crit Lab retains a $100 admin fee. Deposits are NON refundable for cancellations by artists for any reason. Balance for the entire program is due March 31, 2024. *

In the Crit Lab, Community is paramount and not negotiable. Agreement to our community standards is required for all participants.

Community is important to me. I understand this a small family residency where we practice generosity, reciprocity and respect towards one another and towards our hosts. I happily accept the terms of the Residency.
