Tutor Workshop: Comparative Grammar
When: Wednesday, January 26
Time:  3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
Where: Zoom

Have you run into repeated problems that don't seem to make sense, like a Dari speaker who uses "he" and "she" in place of each other? Or a Spanish speaker who switches the order of nouns and adjectives? This could be a result of First Language Interference, a problem where grammar from the student's first language is being confused with English grammar. In this workshop, Steven will look at some of the common problems we see, and what you can do to help your student move past them.
