Lakeville North Fall Dance- Tryout Registration
Open to current 8th - 11th graders that will be attending Lakeville North next year, 2024-2025.

We are so excited to be hosting next season's Fall Dance Tryouts. Please follow directions below for tryouts.

Tryouts
Where: Lakeville North High School Dance Studio
When:  April 16th 3-5pm
             April 17th 3-5pm
***Please wear dance appropriate clothing, you can wear jazz shoes or tennis shoes (your preference), and hair pulled back out of face.  Also, bring a water bottle.

Steps to follow:
1) Fill out this form. Make sure to use the best email contact for yourself.
2) Keep an eye on your email. I will be sending a notification when our tryout choreography video has posted to the website.
3) Review the choreography video prior to tryouts.

April 16th- warm-up, across the floor technique, and review of the choreography.
April 17th- you will warm up on your own, quick whole group review of choreography. Then tryouts will take place by future grade levels: 12th, 11th, 10th, 9th (as soon as you have completed your tryout you can leave).

Announcements for 2024 Fall Dance Team will be made on Thursday, April 18th.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT THE SCHOOL REQUIRES ADDITIONAL STEPS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TRYOUTS. YOU MUST HAVE AN UP TO VALID PHYSICAL ON FILE AND MUST BE REGISTERED WITH SCHOOL. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS BELOW.

1) Sports Physicals:  In order to be eligible for Dance Tryouts, you will need to have a valid sports physical on file. Please check that you have an up to date physical on file. If not, get this done ASAP.

Sports physicals can be dropped off in the mail depository by the administration office, emailed to lisa.krohnberg@isd194.org or faxed to 952-469-7945

2) Register for Tryouts Fall Dance:  Link: Lakeville Area Schools (https://lakevilleareas-ar.rschooltoday.com/),  click on LNHS Athletics (not Activities and Clubs).  The title of the registration is Dance Tryouts (for Fall & Winter 24-25 Dance). There is no fee associated with this tryout.  
***This registration is for TRYOUTS ONLY.  If you are trying out for LakeLiners as well, you only need to register once here.  There will be a separate registration later this summer for the actual Fall Season.

Practice dates and times are TENTATIVE at this time and could be adjusted. We will most likely begin the week August 12th.  Practice times are currently tentative but may include "2-a-days" since our first home game is before school starts.  This means a morning practice, and potentially evening practices on the field. Once school starts, fall practices take place Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday after school from 3-5pm. Game days dancers stay after school until released after half-time. We don't have our schedule yet, but will provide dates as soon as we have them.  Please let us know if you have conflicts with the dates listed above. *
