AVALON HIGH FIVE DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP FORM

What you need to know:

Applicants of any age who would not be able to afford the conference without financial assistance may apply. We are prepared to give special consideration to qualified applicants who are often underrepresented at astrology conferences like those who may be differently abled, a member of a historically marginalized ethnic, gender or sexual minority, or an intersection of any of the above.

• The scholarship entitles you to attend the main conference, including the Saturday evening banquet at no charge. You will need sufficient funds for travel, lodging, food, and incidentals.

• As a scholarship recipient, you will receive $200 - $300 to help offset your expenses when you check in at registration.

• The scholarship does NOT include the pre-conference workshop on Friday, March 3, hotel room or other accommodations, transportation, or incidentals.

• The information you enter below is confidential. Personal information like your address, email address phone number, and your responses to other questions will not be shared.

What Happens if I’m Awarded a Scholarship?

• You’ll be expected to participate in this conference at the best of your ability, including attending as many sessions as physically able and willing.

• You’ll be required to write a short 250-500 word write up of your VA Conference experience within 30 days of the conclusion of the conference.

• Agree to take a group photo with other scholarship recipients.

• Encouraged to attend the Q & A Lunch Session
