Thank you for your interest in the Allen ISD Associate Degree Pathway.  This unique pathway allows students to earn both high school and college credits simultaneously.  Students will earn an Associate of Arts in Business Field of Study or Associate of Science in General Studies through Collin College.

Through the partnership with Allen ISD, Collin College & University of North Texas (UNT), students that complete the Associate Degree Pathway with an Associate of Arts in Business Field of Study can apply all the credits earned towards a degree at the University of North Texas (UNT) in the College of Business or College of Merchandising, Hospitality and Tourism. Students will be classified as a junior after the first semester of attending UNT.  Students may also choose to attend another university.  Students will need to speak to the admissions office at the university to see how the credits will transfer.

The Associate of Science in General Studies is recommended for non-business majors. All academic courses transfer to Texas public universities for core curriculum and/or elective credit. Students considering out-of-state or private universities should contact the respective admissions office(s) to confirm which courses may be eligible for transfer.
