The Transparent Development Footprints team is hiring research assistants in Spring 2021 to assemble the world's most comprehensive dataset on Chinese official financing globally, across 18 years. The resulting data, which will be made publicly available, will assist policymakers and researchers to better understand the scale and scope of development and commercial finance from China. This research is funded by USAID.
College of William and Mary students from all backgrounds are welcomed to apply to the internship. Proficiency in foreign languages is a plus, especially in Chinese, Spanish, French, Arabic, Korean, Japanese languages. Interns will work unpaid for the first 60 hours and are then eligible to become research assistants who are paid $8/hr. Experienced RAs are eligible for pay increases up to $12/hr.
