Photographs are taken throughout camp activities and may be used in promotional material.  Personal details are, however, never attached in promotional material.
SU - General Information *
Scripture Union is a worldwide interdenominational Christian youth movement & Scripture Union camps are planned to give young people a fun holiday under experienced leadership. The programme is carefully supervised and care is taken to ensure the health and safety of the campers. There are trained leaders for every 5-8 campers.

Swimming *
Swimming in the pool (not the river!) is allowed and supervised by camp leaders.  The pool is shallow enough, for most children in this age group, to stand but they need to be able to handle themselves in the water.
First Aid *
 A qualified first-aider and well equipped first-aid box are on site to attend to minor issues, however, any medical service costs are for the parent's/guardian's account.
Lost Property *
Lost property will be held at the Scripture Union office for three weeks following the camp. After this time, unclaimed lost property will be donated to charity. To avoid losses, please mark your child's clothing clearly.
Indemnity *
By clicking "Agree" below, I the parent or guardian, acknowledge that the participant, named herein has my permission to participate in all activities on camp. Although I understand that every care is taken to ensure his/her safety. I am aware that attendance is at their own risk. I hereby agree to indemnify Scripture Union, Sumcay, the appointed leaders, associates and volunteer staff, and to hold them harmless in respect of any liability for any injury, loss or damage or expenses of whatever nature to any person or property howsoever caused. I also hereby authorise the organisers to administer appropriate First Aid and to arrange for medical treatment or hospitalisation in case of an emergency. I shall not allow the applicant to leave for the camp unless his/her health is in every way satisfactory. (Your signature agreeing to this statement will be required when dropping your child off at the campsite.)
