Thank you for your interest in the Iowa Beaver Project!

We are excited to involve volunteers in our work. Volunteers are what makes this possible! Because we are a state-wide project, we need as many volunteers across the state as possible. We would like to minimize how much volunteers have to travel to help us.

Depending on your availability, and willingness to travel, we will match you with a job to volunteer on. Because beavers are quite creative, each job is slightly different. You are encouraged to volunteer on as many other jobs as you like throughout our "beaver season" which typically extends the third week in June until the first week in September.

Volunteers will be called on a as-needed basis, with a minimum of 3 day notice (unfortunately, some of our work is weather dependent). If you prefer to do flow devices, or relocation, for example, we will do our best to match you with those types of projects. If you feel you have a talent to offer IBP you don't see listed below, TELL US!

After we review your application, we will contact you with more information about being a volunteer at IBP to hopefully answer more of your questions.
