The Junior Economic Club of Boston, 2023-2024 Board Application
Hello! Thank you for your interest in applying for the board. We know the application might seem somewhat intimidating, but don't worry. We understand that this may be your first time applying for a position like this, and that is okay! As you will notice throughout the application, we are looking for people who are eager to lead, grow, and take initiative.

Hopefully, you'll have the chance to learn a bit about yourself when filling this out. Even if you are not selected, you'll still gain experience that will be helpful when applying or interviewing for future opportunities. Near the end of this application, you will have the chance to indicate whether you would be interested in having your responses serve as an ambassador application if you are not selected for the board.

Most responses have a recommended word count. It's just that - a recommendation. If you find that you are able to get your point across in fewer words, or if you need to write more to fully explain yourself, do not worry. Responses will be judged on their quality, not their length. Please keep in mind that we are looking for people who will bring diverse perspectives and experiences, whether personal or professional, to the board, so we would encourage you to emphasize that within your answers when relevant.

If you have any questions related to the application specifically please reach out to us at: bostonboard@junioreconomicclub.org

Refer to this roles document for more information:

Priority deadline is September 15th

We look forward to reviewing your responses!
