“Dorothy Day and Antisemitism” A Lux Center Zoom Presentation

Dorothy Day, cofounder of The Catholic Worker, spent a lifetime striving to see Christ in every person. Her personal witness was powerfully felt by those around her, and her cause for canonization is active now in Rome. However, there have been questions about certain statements she made regarding Jewish people. Was Dorothy Day antisemitic? This Lux Center Zoom presentation – given by Anne Haines, founder of the St. Bakhita Catholic Worker House in Milwaukee – will wrestle with this question. We will also have plenty of time for questions and conversation.
