Exact timing will be updated as the details are confirmed. We anticipate that there will be enough time between events for officials and volunteers to travel between and participate in both events if they so desire. Locations are approximately 6 miles apart, drive time 10-15 minutes.

ROCHESTER AREA JUNIOR ROLLER DERBY OFFICIATING INFO/POLICIES:

COMPENSATION per game:
$10 per full game worked, $5 for shadows - plus snacks

ILLNESS POLICY
Masks optional. RAJRD just asks if you feel ill that you choose to keep your germs to yourself, regardless of the type of microbe you have at work.
RULES
Our events are played in alignment with the current JRDA (2023) and are great learning experiences. We encourage Officials to try new roles, shadow experienced Officials, and help each other better the region's officiating community. If you have any questions about the new 2023 Juniors rules, feel free to reach out for further details to our officials or to morti@rocjrderby.org. All changes are made to prioritize safety and fairness in junior roller derby game play. Junior officials are encouraged to apply (for JRDA games only)! (Consider your schedule, availability, and endurance carefully if you also intend to play in one or more of these games!

COVID POLICY
Individuals who are fully vaccinated will have the option to attend without a mask. 
Individuals who prefer to mask or who are not vaccinated are strongly encouraged to wear a mask while at this event.

FOR OFFICIALS APPLYING FOR JRDA GAMES (Games 1 and 2):

I confirm that I am registered with the JRDA as a volunteer or will be registered within 3 weeks of the event. If I am not registered by May 1, I understand I cannot be staffed. 

Note - if you wish to only be staffed for the WFTDA Game, registration with JRDA is not required. 
If you wish to only be staffed for the Level 1/Level 2 game, registration is not mandatory, though it is suggested for 2023.
