Dear Colleagues,
the Committee on the National Italian Exam is seeking volunteers among teachers and students to take part in the pilot test of the 2022 exam. The pilot study aims to obtain feedback on different aspects of the exam (tasks, items, design, specifications, level of proficiency, etc.). Your participation is very important because the data collected from this pretesting stage will help to draft the final version of the exam scheduled to go live in March 2022. In addition, teachers and students will have the opportunity to practice the exam and to accustom to Lingco, our new testing platform (this platform will be used by the French National Exam and in the coming years, by most of the other National Exams).
We are looking for both teachers and/or classes (from level 0 to Level 5) who will pilot online one of the 6 exam levels. The exam is divided in 2 sections (one listening and viewing and another for reading) which should take no more than 40 minutes each, if administered separately. Those who are interested should register using the form below by November 10th, 2021. Participants will be able to access the exam during the first two/three weeks of December 2021. Exams can be administered by the teachers any time during this window. We will send all the necessary information to the first 50 schools / teachers who have registered.
We would like to emphasize that your participation and your students' is completely voluntary, and all your responses will be kept confidential. No personally identifiable information will be associated with your students' responses in any reports of these data.
Thank you once again for your participation and don’t forget to register November 10th using the form below.
