The Hague: Freedom of Ukraine Event Series
ABBA is launching an event series «The Hague: Freedom of Ukraine», focusing on the topics of the future of Ukraine and the impact of war and conflict on the environment.

1️⃣ Our 1st event is titled: «Panel discussion on the Future of Ukraine»

The event brings together a diverse range of experts to analyze and contemplate the trajectory of Ukraine in the 21st century.

  • Speakers: Julia Soldatiuk-Westerveld (Clingendael Institute), Thijs Reuten (European Parliament), Andriy Siromakha (Ukrainian war veteran), and Professor Alfred Soons (Utrecht University).
  • Moderator: Kido Koenig (Foundation Max van der Stoel). 
  • Opening statement: Professor Antoaneta Dimitrova (Leiden University). 

2️⃣Our 2nd event is titled: «The Impact of War & Conflict on the Environment»

In this panel experts will address the effects of the military-industrial complex on the environment and the prospects of decarbonizing the military.
