The GCCS Ed. Foundation is granting $20,000 (10,000 per cycle) in classroom grants in 2019-2020. Thank you to German American Bank for their partnership with our grant initiative.

Please complete the application below to be considered by our Educator Initiatives Committee.

All applications for the spring will be reviewed and approved at the January board meeting. All requests should be received by November 30th to be considered at this meeting.

The Foundation has established the following guidelines:

Certified staff members of Greater Clark County Schools are eligible to submit a proposal for grants.

Due to limited funds, you are allowed to receive one grant each academic calendar year.  Don’t be discouraged, save a great idea for the following year if you have more than one!!

Grant funds may not be used for individuals to earn extra credit in credit college courses and or professional development.

Grant funds may not be used for field trips and or transportation.

Grant request can not exceed the amount of $500 unless prior approval from the GCCS Educational Foundation Executive Director, Emily Oliver-Jones (eoliver-jones@gccschools.com).

If you received a grant in 2018-2019 and did not return the evaluation form, you are not eligible for this round of grants until the paperwork is submitted.

The project must enhance the students’ learning experiences in one or more subject areas (language arts, math, science, social studies, related arts, etc.). The committee is looking for creativity, student impact, and materials that can be used for multiple years.
