Local Braille Production Center Application (LBPC)
One objective of the BEST Grant is to increase access to high-quality braille materials. In addressing that goal, the grant will establish three LBPCs in high-need school districts, vocational and technical education centers during each year of the grant. The establishment of these centers will expand braille production capabilities at the local school district level. Chosen sites will receive an embosser, scanner (when needed) and software as needed for the production of incidental braille materials for students who use braille.
