The Popup Open Desk for Student Success (PODSS) are co-created learning spaces where parents curate unique in-person learning interventions and experiences with community volunteers for a small pod of children in near-peer teaching and learning networks across Atlanta. Teach X, an edtech platform, has partnered with parents to help them easily connect with volunteers, tutors and industry experts to support their homemade POD experiences.

So we start our first pilot of the PODSS on September 8 2020 and our app will be ready by September 1st to download on both Android and Apple platforms. PODSS will be primarily led by our parents and they will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the logistics for their POD in the Teach X app with our "Supporters", that's you.

All "Supporters" must be 18 years or older. As a "Supporter" of our PODSS, we will need basic contact information so that we can follow up with you for a background check, alert when app is ready, provide PPE and cleaning supplies and  any potential contact tracing needs. Other than that, we normally stay out of the way. You will mainly work directly with our parents, teachers or school leaders through our Teach X mobile application and support them and their PODSS.
