Congratulations for making the first step to embark on a learning journey to discover amazing tools and non-formal education methods to become mentor and trainer in the field of financial literacy.
WalkTogether will be your host during this process and, together with the trainers team and partner organisations: Monomyths Association, Civitas Foundation, EKO Greece, Intercollege APS Denmark, Nuorisokeskus Piispala Finland, Sdruzhenie Walk Together Bulgaria, and Terram Pacis Norway, we commit to make this experience tranformational, inspiring, and motivating.
Before proceeding with the completion of the participant form, it is essential that you read carrefully the info-pack and understand the main purpose of the project and its objectives, what we will experience together.
Your contribution is valuable and expected in all the phases of the project implementation:
1. Before the training course
You will become familiar with key-concepts and the financial literacy universe from your country and Europe. You will receive prior to your attendance in the programme a collection of guiding materials to make sure we make the most out of this mobility for youth workers and we speak the same "finance" language.
2. During the training course
It is encouraged and expected to keep track of your learning process, to actively contribute to the programme activities and to offer feedback on the prototyped methods on the mobility project. As well, we will test together the prototype 1.0 of one financial education board game and find ways to improve it.
3. After the training course
To spread awareness about Erasmus+ Programme, Youth Finance Academy project and carry on local workshops/webinars/presentations:
Type A Workshop - for youth workers, colleagues, teachers, leaders of youth organisations.
Type B Workshop - for young people and teenagers to test the tools created during the Youth Finance Academy
Even though this experience is designed to enrich as well your competencies in cultural awareness and expression, is not intended to be a holiday. Erasmus+ mobilities have the aim to support youth workers and Youth NGOs to develop their capabilities to provide quality services and support to young people.
If you want to explore Lithuania more, this is a great news and it makes us very honored. You can choose to arrive two days earlier or spend two additional days after the training course, on your expenses, to travel to other cities or enjoy even more the experiences that the capital city has to offer you. We have not planned trips in the learning flow since it is a short training course (6 days).
