Show dates are: Friday, May 3rd at 6pm, and Saturday, May 4th at 2pm & 6pm in the Beacon Hill Middle School Cafeteria. There may also be a small invite-only preview after school on Thursday, May 2nd. (Times are subject to change.)
Rehearsals will begin in March and will be held after school 3 days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 – 5:30 pm. Early Release days excluded. Additional rehearsals and costume fittings may be scheduled as needed. Here is a Draft/Sample of our Rehearsal Schedule for review. You must be able to commit fully to the rehearsal process, so think carefully about your commitments before proceeding with auditions.
Tech Week: We will have a rehearsal on Saturday, April 27th from 10am-1pm, and then dress rehearsals will be every day after school until 6:30 pm the final week of the show. All rehearsals during the FINAL tech week are mandatory. If you are unavailable for any dates during tech week, you should not try-out.
You must indicate on the form below any possible conflicts you have with the rehearsal schedule. With only 30 roles and approximately 15 crew positions, your availability will be a consideration when casting and choosing crew. Failure to show up for rehearsals or failure to communicate absences to the Directors could result in your part or job being reassigned.
Please note, there will be a $30 participation fee* charged if your child is chosen for the cast or crew. This will help cover the costs of the production including costumes, wrap party, and a t-shirt. *Need-based scholarships are available.
It takes a lot of helping hands to produce a school play and parents are strongly encouraged to volunteer if able! Look out for more information regarding volunteering soon!
