SY 2023 - 2024 SIAC Application
If you want to be part of meaningful change, apply to serve as a student representative on SIAC for the 2023-24 school year! All middle school and high school students in PUSD are eligible.

About SIAC: We represent student voice and advocate on behalf of students in PUSD.  We work directly with district administrators and other stakeholders in the community.  During the pandemic, SIAC emphasized student engagement through projects like the Tobacco Retail Ordinance, Remote Resilience video series and Thought Exchange. SIAC also worked with PUSD administrations to provide feedback on the PUSD Equity Grading Practices. In the past, we worked with the Board Trustees to secure a non-binding vote for the Student Board member. Our goal is to provide opportunities for all students to get involved in the governance of our schools and school district. For more info about what we do, visit our website at https://pleasantonsiac.weebly.com/.

Council meetings are once a month after school on select Wednesdays, and we are looking for students who are excited to commit time to SIAC. There are also opportunities to participate in other district meetings and engage with district leadership.
