Terms and Conditions of Winning a Prize Draw with EPIC Recovery/The Sober Connection (SoCon):

1. Eligibility: a. To participate in the prize draw, you must be at least 18 years of age or older. b. You must reside in London, Ontario, or the surrounding area.

2. Prize Draw Date and Entry Deadline: a. The prize draw will take place on September 13th, 2024. b. The deadline to enter the prize draw is September 12th, 2024, at 11:59 PM (Eastern Time).

3. Prize Collection: a. The prize must be collected in person; no shipping or delivery options are available. b. You are required to present valid identification when claiming the prize.

4. Prize Claim Period: a. Winners have 7 calendar days from the date of notification to claim their prize. b. If the prize is not claimed within the designated period, it will be forfeited, and another draw will be conducted to select an alternate winner.

5. Registration Requirement: a. Winners must be registered on the SoCon (The Sober Connection)/EPIC Recovery mailing list to claim their prize. b. By participating in the prize draw, you agree to receive marketing and promotional materials from SoCon.

6. Liability and Responsibility: a. EPIC Recovery/The Sober Connection (SoCon) assumes no responsibility or liability for any damage or harm caused by the prize to you or anyone else. b. The prize is provided "as is" without any warranty or guarantee, express or implied.

7. Publicity: a. As part of our focus on promoting healthy activities and alternatives to drugs and alcohol, we will request your photo and testimonial about your prize win. b. By accepting the prize, you grant EPIC Recovery/The Sober Connection (SoCon) the right to use your name, photo, and testimonial on social media and other promotional materials without any further compensation.

8. Compliance with Rules: a. By participating in the prize draw, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations.

9. Modification or Cancellation: a. EPIC Recovery/The Sober Connection (SoCon) reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the prize draw at any time and for any reason. b. Any such changes will be communicated through the SoCon website or other appropriate channels.

10. Governing Law: a. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada.

11. Disputes: a. Any disputes arising from or relating to the prize draw shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.

By participating in the prize draw, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
