There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.
Below is a picture of the parts of a typical bowsaw used for sawing wood into lengths at camp. The wing nut is used for tightening the blade to ensure it is straight. The pins allow you to hook the blade onto the saw frame making it easy to change it if you release the tension. Below is a picture of a collapsible bowsaw (collapsed and assembled). These are often used for camping trips since they are lighter and easier to carry then an axe or a bowsaw.
A bucksaw is a very similar saw that you may also encounter. It has the same parts as a bowsaw, just arranged slightly differently, especially if it is homemade. Below is an example of a homemade bucksaw. You can find more information about the bucksaw here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bucksaw
