Middle School Summer 2023 Student Commitment
We are planning for summer school for all entering middle school students!  Please commit by May 10, 2023.  Mid May, we will open enrollment to other students as space is available.   We will let you know about your students' participation mid to end of May.

Middle School Summer Academy Information
JSD will offer summer Math and PE programming for JSD students currently in 5th grade. Students will be selected based on space availability and most have been referred by grade level teachers to attend this opportunity. Students referred by a classroom teacher will have first preference.

 **It is a family's responsibility to fill out the form and submit for consideration. An incomplete form can result in your child not being able to attend Summer courses.** If you are having trouble filling out the form, please reach out to your child's teacher or you can contact Amanda at amanda.duvall@juneauschools.org. as soon as possible**  

Transportation is available to Floyd Dryden. There is no charge for this program, but we do ask families to complete a survey at the end of the program.  Please fill out the form as completely as possible.

This commitment is for students currently in 5th grade at Auke Bay, Harborview, Glacier Valley, Sayeik:Gastineau,  Kax̱dig̱oowu Héen, and Mendenhall River, TCLL, JCCS, and Montessori Borealis. 

The summer schedule is as follows:  
*June 1-14, 2023 
*8:30am - 3:00pm
(no breakfast will be offered this year, please provide a healthy snack for your student as well as sending him/her with a water bottle)  
*Monday-Friday
