RAFT Spring Session Application 

Mondays & Wednesdays 4:30-6:30 starting March 27th until May 17th

8 week sessions

What students do in R.A.F.T.

• Gain an introduction to carpentry and boatbuilding skills

• Work together with dedicated adult mentors to construct a variety of rowboats and canoes

• Outdoor recreation through rowing and on-the-water activities

• Participate in life skills and financial literacy workshops

• Engage in real job-like experience

• Learn about opportunities for internships, summer jobs, and community service

• Practice AHB values of safety, workmanship, integrity, focus, and teamwork

What is ONE goal you would like to reach as a result of participating in RAFT?
RAFT Participants are expected to make a commitment to the RAFT program to attend all sessions (to the best of their ability). RAFT’s projects build on a weekly basis, so good attendance is required. If there are weeks you are unable to attend please communicate with Eli or Meghan as early as possible.
