MURDER IN THE ALPS!
Thursday, October 19, 6:30 at the Liberty Library

High in the Swiss mountains lies the sleepy Alpine village of Tüblerone, an exclusive playground for the rich and famous. After years of schnapps, après-ski and fondue, the local gendarmerie have discovered a dead body! The man in question is none other than the distinguished Ed Bustard, 15th Earl of Duffolk! The Earl had many notable friends, but even more enemies. All of these colourful characters are now in the dead man’s chalet, and one of them is the killer!
  1. Rich Bustard  - Ed's favorite son who will inherit his title and money

  2. Fifty Pence - Loves gangsta music, along with renewable living and vegan yogurts. Has never worked a day in his life and is proud of it.

  3. Madame Bain-Marie - Honed at the finest culinary schools of Paris, she believes that there is nothing more beautiful than a fine French wine with cheese. Rude and disrespectful to all the other guests, believing herself to be by far their superior.

  4. Mike Rochip - All about technology. Knows more about it than anybody else but very little is interesting. Girls make him nervous.

  5. Gary Vinegar - Mouthy, unpleasant and a bit slow. He struggles to keep up with the conversation, but doesn't care because he is loaded.

  6. Clare Grylls Born in Scotland, the world is his playground. He takes great pleasure in visiting the most remote places in the world and then coming back and telling everyone about them; the more hardship the better!

  7. Carey Tray - A gentleman’s gentleman. Some would call him stuffy and repressed.

  8. Dawn Corleone - Stylish and menacing. Dashing and deadly. Business is business and hers alone. She says very little to the other guests, but this is partly because they might not understand her thick Sicilian accent.

It should be noted that there are no special acting abilities required for the game and you can make as much or as little of the character as you wish. A script will be sent to you prior to the event. You do not need to memorise any information and can simply read word-for-word what you have been given without embellishing anything, if you so choose. Your character will be asked questions and you will answer in your own words as the character. Simple props & costumes are extra, but they give others insight to your character and are encouraged.

Please play. It will be fun!
