In 2019 the Delivery Team of the four pilot countries of Asthma Right Care developed a range of Asthma Right Care Question and Challenge Cards to contribute to the social movement. Based on an idea from Whose Shoes (http://nutshellcomms.co.uk/product/) they are designed to stimulate conversations between healthcare professionals and between healthcare professionals and patients and to have fun! The cards are split into four sections:
- Health and Care Professionals
- All Practitioners and Patients
- Pharmacists
- Patients

Some are designed to elicit information, some appeal to emotion, and some suggest alternative narratives eg metaphors and similes to help explain asthma. The questions are all listed below. We ask you to advise whether you think these are still useful and also reflect on how they may have helped achieve our goal of stimulating honest and meaningful conversations that may create discomfort with the present state, and increase the felt need for improvement, including education about right care. There is a question at the end of each section where you can add new questions and challenges that would work for you.
Once the survey is complete we will review the responses and develop a new set of cards.
