In Slant Rhyme, sculpture, painting, video, fiber, and drawing converge to investigate proximity as a network of throughlines. Together, the 14 artists engage materiality and myth, gender and labor, intimacy and mutuality, with gaps as significant as correspondences.
Featuring work by Adria Arch, Gabrielle Banks, Genevieve Cohn, aricoco (Ari Tabei), Cathy Della Lucia, Leslie Fandrich, Jai Hart, Sheng Lor, Catherine Nelson, Loretta Park, Andrea Pérez, Laurel Sparks, Kelsey Tynik, and Anna Wehrwein.
The event will be held in-person at the:
Brandeis University Women's Studies Research Center,
Epstein Building (brick stairs with a purple awning on the right side of the building)
