Day 1: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, November 17, 2023: Let's Gather!
Kickstart the conference by joining us for an informal and friendly gathering! "Let's Gather!" is a relaxed networking event where you can connect with fellow attendees, speakers, and industry professionals.
This is your chance to unwind, make new friends, and discuss common interests. Whether you're a seasoned industry veteran or new to the scene, this event is the perfect opportunity to share experiences and insights. Enjoy light refreshments and beverages as you kick off the conference with a sense of camaraderie.
Day 2: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, November 18, 2023: Screen Media Industry Conference
This is not your typical conference schedule! Join us as we explore the fascinating world of screen production in the Yukon. From inspiring talks by industry experts to a lively scavenger hunt, the day is packed with opportunities to connect, learn, and celebrate our unique journey. It's an event where the Yukon screen industry truly unites, so don't miss it! Detailed programming will be released shortly.

Day 2: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM, November 18, 2023: Screen Media Industry Awards Night
Join us for an evening of celebration and inspiration as we present the Viewfinder Award, honoring exceptional talent and innovation driving the Yukon screen industry's growth, and the Focus Award, recognizing the enduring contributions of key industry figures. As the spotlight shines on our industry's brightest stars, we're also excited to host a pitch event where partner NGOs will share their valuable resources for film industry professionals. Don't miss this engaging night of awards, networking, and exciting opportunities as we celebrate the very best of the Yukon screen industry and its potential.

TICKET PRICING
- Early Bird Ticket Pricing (Until Nov 10): $85
- Regular Ticket Pricing (After Nov 10): $115
Ticket pricing includes access to all conference sessions, the Friday night social, and the award gala. SPYA members have the option to purchase an additional gala ticket for $25, which can be selected during the checkout on Eventbrite. Gala tickets are also available to the public at the following rates:
- Early Bird Ticket Pricing (Until Nov 10): $35
- Regular Ticket Pricing (After Nov 10): $55
Travel Reimbursement for Remote Members
If you're a remote member, We’re pleased to offer travel support to remote members which will be reimbursed after the conference. Here's what you can expect:
- Travel Distance Allowance: You'll receive 69.0 cents (CAD) per kilometre to help cover your travel expenses.
- Accommodation Allowance: We provide $50 CAD per night to contribute to your accommodations during your trip.
- Please contact SPYA team in advance of the conference at info@spya.ca if you plan to utilize the travel reimbursement.
