Are you new to the community and are finding it challenging to find the time and space to get to know the community? Are you looking to get to know other families at Stuart Hobson Middle School? Do you have questions for families with children in different grades about their experience? Help us, help you to build community at Stuart Hobson Middle School, and volunteer to be a grade-level caregiver liaison!

We are looking for 4-8 caregivers per grade to help us organize grade-level activities for students and families to build our community.  We understand it is challenging to get to know other families in middle school. We hope by implementing the grade-level caregiver liaison program, we can develop connections with each other and continue to create an inclusive environment at Stuart Hobson Middle School! The grade-level caregiver program was a success prior to COVID, and we are eager to get this program going again!

Time commitment is anticipated to be 2 hours a month. Examples of activities include:

•            Organizing celebrations for students and teachers on select occasions.

•            Supporting school events, pep rallies, and friendly competitions between grades.

•            Promoting family participation in the arts/theater and sports programs.

•            Implementing family engagement information sessions to raise awareness and support families.
