Who Decides What We Eat?
Access to food and nutrition is still not recognised as a basic human right in UK legislation and conventional food systems have led to increased food insecurity in the UK. The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) is working with FoodFutures, North Lancashire's Sustainable Food Places partnership, to conduct research exploring people’s understanding of ‘who decides what I eat?’. This study will examine people’s experiences of deciding what to eat in both conventional and alternative food systems, in order to understand where power and trust lies within food systems.

As part of the project we're looking for local residents to take part in one of three community conversations around this theme.  The conversations will be held online in the week commencing the 25th April and will be around 2 hours. If you're interested to take part please fill out the survey below and we'll be in touch.
