Thanks for expressing interest in attending the People's Transit Alliance's next ridership canvass. We are canvassing AC Transit bus riders to petition AC Transit to spend $100 million of federal rescue funds in line with these three unified demands:
1. Expanded service
2. Reduced fares
3. Back hazard pay for frontline transit workers

We are building worker and rider solidarity and power to ensure AC Transit becomes a public agency that actually addressees the needs of the multi-racial working class in the East Bay.

If you've never canvassed before, that's ok! We will have a canvass training on Zoom the night of September 23 from 5-6pm to prep for the canvass itself, which will be from 9:30-11:30am on September 24 in Downtown Oakland at 14th and Broadway.
