Community Program

The Nano Community Program consists in strategic and organized actions by a group of passionate and volunteer nano enthusiasts, that want to do something more to collaborate with the adoption and growth of XNO as a decentralized peer-to-peer money.

In this program, we aim to be the bridge between the Community and the Nano Foundation. At the same time, we become the bridge between nano, as a currency, and the rest of the world.

Pro-activity is a must. We need proactive community members to take responsibilities to become leaders and make the difference. But we will also provide support, training and brainstorm ideas with anyone willing to collaborate.

How does the program works:

The Community Program will mainly focus on two different areas: (1) Online Presence; and (2) Local Presence.

Online is anything that happens in the digital world. Social media, blogs, podcasts, vlogs, contact with businesses and services, forums, groups, the press, specialized platforms/portals, translations, documentation, etc.

Local is anything that happens in the physical world. We will have a higher focus on creating nano-based local circular economies in countries, towns, cities, villages, or neighbourhoods. And this will happen through contacting businesses, onboarding users, events, meetups, local press, etc.

As part of the Community Program, community leaders will be able to choose what they want to do. For what they like and for what they are good at.

Community leaders can take part in this actions by picking one, two or all of the following roles; according to their profile and personal characteristics.

Ambassadors

Ambassadors fight in the frontlines!

They are our feet, face, and voice. This role is perfect for community members that are comfortable speaking publicly and creating relationships with others.

They are our representatives inside their own social circles, and they act to educate, motivate and connect people.

Ambassadors building their online presence can be (but not limited to):

  • Content creators (bloggers, vloggers, podcasters, etc);

  • Leaders with influence (CEOs, founders, builders, specialists, etc);

  • Lead Generators (actively contacting businesses, services, users);

  • And more…

Ambassadors building their local presence can be (but not limited to):

  • Educators (speakers, teachers, event hostess, etc);

  • Leaders with influence (business owners, high frequency users, etc.)

  • Lead Generators (actively contacting businesses, services, users);

  • And more…

Community Managers

Community Managers work in the backstage and keep the structure functional!

They are our mind and hands. This role is perfect for community members that don’t want to show their faces publicly, are organized, methodic and have skills with working tools or softwares.

They are our managers, producers and trustable anonymous heroes. Managing action-based teams in different areas.

Community Managers building their online presence can be (but not limited to):

  • Social-Profile Managers (Nano Brazil Twitter page, Nano Adoption Instagram page, etc);

  • Proofreaders (translations, etc);

  • Groups admins (Telegram groups, Discord server, etc);

  • Account Managers (creating lists of prospects, supporting businesses/services, etc)

Community Managers building their local presence can be (but not limited to):

  • Account Managers (creating lists of prospects, supporting businesses/services, etc);

  • Event Producers (organizing events and meetups);

  • Designing promotional assets to be used locally;

  • And more…

Moderators

Moderators make sure everything is organized, and the community is listened to!

They are our heart and ears. This role is perfect for community members that want to deal directly with the community in a supportive role. But also aren’t afraid to enforce rules and keep things organized.

They are our “customer support service” and the pieces that allow our engines to work smoothly. Moderating groups, being the community bridge, and the ones others will look for guidance.

Moderators building their online presence can be (but not limited to):

  • Group Moderators (Telegram, Discord, Reddit, Twitter etc);

  • Active on social network, monitoring and answering nano related posts;

  • And more…

Moderators building their local presence can be (but not limited to):

  • Business supporters (being ready to answer or relay doubts/feedbacks to other parties);

  • Event Staff (helping to organize events and meetups);

  • And more…
