Please open up your Gospel Weeklies to page 2. Read the title and ask your child if they know what a food bank or food pantry is. Have you ever been to one. Then explain to your child that donating food is a way we can do what Jesus asked us in the Gospel: "When I was hungry, you gave me something to eat." For the activity have your child trace the items that are needed at a food bank and draw lines to put them into the donation box. *
