Thank you for your interest in attending our event! Our Community Book Fair - Celebrating Black Representation in Literature and Media - on Wesleyan University’s campus March 1st, 2025, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., with set up starting at 8 a.m. and clean up ending by 5 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. It will include tabling authors, vendors, and organizations, workshops, author readings, panels, a drumming circle, and giveaways. We invite everyone to join the celebration: families, students of all ages, community members, authors, illustrators, publishers, educators, librarians, youth organizations, and more. We hope this book fair will inspire communities to continue diversifying our classroom and home libraries.
We have offerings for participants of all ages. Please complete this form for each participant attending (unless you are filling it out on behalf of your children) and we will follow up with the rest of the event details via email.
We hope you will join us in this event celebrating stories that uplift and resonate with our youth!
