The Friends of the Center for the Arts (FCFA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of parent volunteers for the purpose of supporting the Center for the Arts. Our mission is to provide direct benefits to Center students, faculty and staff via volunteer and fundraising activities that will provide cultural enrichment opportunities through the support of the arts, enhance the learning experience through financial assistance in the area of instructional support, and provide scholarships to graduating seniors as they continue their education. The FCFA:

-   Awards $8,500 in scholarships annually to CFA students
-   Offers snacks and meals for students after school during showcase weeks
-   Provides teacher stipends to cover supplies, rentals, and other needs not covered by HCPS
-   Hosts social events for community building among CFA disciplines
-   Purchases necessary equipment not funded by HCPS, such as microphone headsets, footlights and cameras for student performances and portfolios
