O objetivo desse curso é conhecer a musicalidade Basse-Côte (oriunda da região da Baixa Guiné) por meio do aprendizado em Djembe e valorizar os saberes africanos a partir de seus protagonistas, gerando sustentabilidade e empreendedorismo a mestres e artistas.

Ao adquirir este curso, você estará apoiando o PROGRAMA FRATERNIDADE BRASIL GUINÉ - que gera empreendedorismo aos artistas africanos e reverte 50 por cento de seus recursos para a compra de sacos de alimentos (sacos de arroz) para as famílias numerosas, em sua maioria crianças, residentes em Matam, (Vila em Conacri- Guiné).

O laboratório de Djembe é voltado ao público iniciante e avançado, com aulas de 1 hora aos sábados no mês de março em formato online, pela plataforma Zoom.

The objective of this course is to get to know Bascot music (from the Lower Guinea region) through learning in Djembe and valuing the African knowledge of its protagonists, generating sustainability and entrepreneurship for masters and artists. By purchasing this course, you will be supporting the FRATERNITY BRAZIL GUINEA PROGRAM - which generates entrepreneurship for African artists and donates 50 percent of its resources to purchase sacks of rice for large families, mainly children, residing in Matam, (Vila in Conakry -Guinea)
The Djembe laboratory is aimed at beginners and advanced audiences, with 1-hour classes on Saturdays in March in online format, through the Zoom platform.

The dates will be: 03/06 - 03/13 - 03/20 - 03/27

CONHEÇA PEPE SYLLA

Nascido em uma família de djelis (Griot), Pepe Sylla foi educado desde seus 4 anos de idade para ser músico e se tornou polivalente. Admirado por sua versatilidade na música percussiva e na construção de instrumentos musicais, na regência de grupos e classes em Guiné, Senegal, Burkina Faso e Mali. Pepe Sylla é solista ( Bote, balafon e djembe) das cerimônias Guine Fare( cerimônias para mulheres) e especialista nos ritmos da família Bascot - Ritmos oriundos da Baixa Guiné.

Pepe Sylla já fez parte dos mais respeitados grupos de percussão de Guiné, como Fara Percussion, Djole Percussion, Fode Baketa e Camp Fareta Percussion de Youssouf Koumabassa, Percussionista ( Djembeföla do Balés Nacional Djolibá e Djellideni Bala Föla - Orquestra de Balafons da Guiné.

Atualmente Pepe recém chegou no Brasil e está em Curitiba junto ao Dunyaben para compartilhar seus saberes ancestrais e fomentar a valorização da musicalidade mandengue no Brasil e exterior.

Born into a family of djelis (Griot), Pepe Sylla was educated from the age of 4 to be a musician and became versatile. Admired for its versatility in percussive music and in the construction of musical instruments, conducting groups and classes in Guinea, Senegal, Burkina Faso and Mali. Pepe Sylla is a soloist (Bote, balafon and djembe) of the Guinea Fare ceremonies (women's ceremonies) and a specialist in the rhythms of the Bascot family - Rhythms of Lower Guinea.

Pepe Sylla was part of the most renowned percussion groups in Guinea, such as Fara Percussion, Djole Percussion, Fode Baketa and Camp Fareta Percussion by Youssouf Koumabassa, Percussionist (Djembeföla of the National Ballets Djolibá and Djellideni Bala Föla of Guinea-Balafons.

Currently Pepe recently arrived in Brazil and is in Curitiba with Dunyaben to share his ancestral knowledge and promote the valorization of Mandengue music in Brazil and Latin America.
